Made slow, by hand.

A one-person studio working with clay, hide, and recycled 2D materials - small runs, one-off commissions, and pieces built to be used.

Portrait of the artist

Every piece is unique. Drawn to organic forms, clay pieces are hand built and painted, recycled canvas and paper make the mixed-media paintings come to life, and journals are made to hold whatever you put in them.

Welcome!

My name is Abby, and I'm so glad you found your way to my Realm. I am working with my hands to create tiny treasures, and want to share them with you. Sensitive, grounded, slow; all sides I try to embody. Creating is a tool I use to get in touch with the flow of things.
Painting through discomfort, sadness, joy, connection.
Making pottery for community, sharing, experimentation.
Binding leather journals as a ritual before writing.

My heart is in Idaho, Montana, the French Riviera, and Washington state, but right now my feet are planted in Boise. I am happy to be back in my birthplace finding and making space for softness. You can find me in my Realm by the river, on the trails, or in my tiny cottage.

I work out of my home studio, moving between the easel and the workbench depending on what calls to me.

Most ceramic pieces begin as a desire to have something beautiful and organic in my kitchen or living room. Leather journals are one of a kind. Paintings can be available as prints, made to order. Everything is small batch, and unique - which means what's shown here changes often and rarely repeats exactly.

I take on a limited number of commissions each season — a portrait, a set of plates, a journal built for your specific needs. If you have something in mind, get in touch and I would love to work with you.
